Summary

Grouping data by "Month by Day", showing trend, will group all data that share the same day of month for any month or year. For example, if 10 data points are collected on January 1, 2004, and 20 data points are collected on February 2, 2004, all 30 data points will be grouped (averaged).

Why Choose This Data Option Setting?

To chart and analyze trends in historical data for a watch item based on the day of month. Peaks in the charted data may indicate, during specific days of the month, heavy traffic affects overall response time.

For example, a website running a promotion on the 15th of every month may show above average response time on that day, due to increased traffic.
