Description
The details tab provides configuration of the details represented in the report.
Fields and Buttons
Report Type
There are several types of reports:
- Summary Report (General Statistics only)
- Detailed Report (Reports on each item. Report can be large)
- Uptime/Downtime Report (Amount of time between failures)
- Performance Report (Watch Item Response Time Averages)
- Top Failing Watch Items/Transactions (v6)
- Top Slow Watch Items/Transactions (v6)
Detail Report Options
If the Detail report is selected, the following data can be shown in the report
- Failures (Report will show all failures)
- Successes (Report will show all successes)
Limits (v6)
Limits restrict the number of lines/rows of data to show in the detail portion of the report. This is useful if a report is known to possibly grow very large and you want to limit the size of the report.
- Unlimited - no restriction
- Set a number
Column Ordering (v6)
The data in the report detail may be ordered in a number of ways:
- Order columns by Date/Time
- Order by Watch Item Name (or Transaction)
and by:
- Ascending
- Descending
Date Range
A report can be limited by a date range. By default, all dates are shown.
- Time Period - Select from a variable time period:
- All Time
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last 7 Days
- Last 30 Days
- Last Week
- Last Month
- Month to Date
- Year to Date
- Last... - Specifies an integer and date type, e.g. minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. For example, 4 days, 2 months, and 15 minutes.
- Specific
- Start Date - Select a starting date.
- End Date - Select an ending date.
Charting
- Display Chart - If checked, a chart will be displayed at the top of the report below the report banner.
- Charting Options - Click to open the report options dialog. Refer to the Performance Chart Options dialog for detail.
