This step-by-step guide is for the installation of WebWatchBot 5.x

Choose the setup based on the statement that best fits you

Choose WebWatchbot 5.x with MSDE - this setup will install MSDE (Microsoft Sql Server Desktop Engine) automatically for you on the same computer WebWatchBot is installed on.
This setup is for installations not using an existing Sql Server 2000 instance or MSDE.
Do not install this setup on a machine with Sql Server 2000 or MSDE already installed.

Choose WebWatchBot 5.x for SQL Server - this setup will install WebWatchBot on a computer and store its data on an existing instance of SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 or MSDE.
ExclamationSoft recommends using SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008.
